Hosted by the Bayview Yacht Club, the Port Huron to Mackinac Race is a tradition
that began in 1925. With two separate courses spanning a maximum length of 290 feet,
it is one of the longest freshwater races in the world. Each year on the eve of the races
Port Huron hosts "Boat Night" the most anticipated celebration of the year!

Boat Night is a local
favorite celebration that draws people from all over the nation!
Stroll the busy marina boardwalk at this festive, exciting, pre-race
celebration where
hundreds
gather to see the yachts, crew, and the race fans, of course.
Live bands, party tents, amazing yachts and tall tales abound at this annual
party.
Many tents are free and the libations are priced very reasonably, from
only $2 - $5.
The Blue Water Carnival Days takes place at the same time as the
Mackinac
race festivities - all within a short walk!
