About The Charities
The Lee Dippel Cancer Fund 503(c)provides financial assistance directly to cancer patients in need. With the few overhead costs covered by caring friends, every cent contributed goes to the patient. This fund is currently being directed to Deanna Danko who is battling stage IV Breast Cancer, which has metastasized to her bones and lungs. Deanna is a psychologist residing in Ferndale, was selected as one of Michigan's Most Eligible and helps out part time at Table for Eight & The Social Connection. Deanna is currently on disability and using the funds raised to help with the multitude of treatment costs not covered by Medicaid. Deanna is experiencing a fair level of success from her treatments and we hope to continue to support her in this endeavor. Many of you met Deanna last December at the Holiday Soiree Fund Raiser held on her behalf.
