Can I Still Get Tickets?
Yes, and it's easier than ever!  Tickets are selling quickly so don’t delay!  They are still available through www.nyedetroit.com, www.resolutionballdetroit.com, www.theSocialConnection.com & www.livenation.com .   When you place your order, you’ll get a credit card receipt sent to you via email. 

How Do I Get My Tickets?
If you purchase your tickets via NYEdetroit.com or ResolutionBallDetroit.com All tickets purchased before 12/22/2009 will be mailed on 12/22/2009.  Tickets purchased on 12/22/2009 or after will be available at Will Call (located inside the Fillmore's main doors) when the doors open.  All tickets will be under the name of the purchaser.  You will need to present a valid ID & your receipt in order to pick up your tickets at Will Call – No Exceptions!

     - If you purchase via Live Nation.com Tickets you will have the option to print your tickets or have them mailed when you purchase on their site. 

Will I get a confirmation email?
When you purchase your tickets from one of the website listed above you will get a confirmation email sent to you.  In addition, approximately 48 hours before the event, you will get a reminder sent to your email.

How many people are expected to attend?
The Main Floor and Mezzanine levels of The Fillmore have a capacity of 1,750 guests.  We are limiting ticket sales for the Resolution Ball 2010 to 1,500 to offer our guests a premier New Year's Eve Experience.  We hope you are one of them! 

What kind of crowd are you expecting?
The Resolution Ball always draws an upscale crowd of young professionals in their 20's and up from all corners of the Midwest .  It's a great mix of singles and couples and an even male to female ratio.

Will I be able to get a drink?
You Bet!  The Fillmore Detroit has some of the most skilled bar staff around. They are bartending professionals and there will be over 20 bartenders at 5 bars available to serve you!

What about parking?
Valet parking is available and recommended.  Valet parking is not included but is available via XXXX valet company for $X.   If you wish not to valet, there are ample parking structures and public parking lots within 3 blocks of The Fillmore.

What do I do with my coat?
Coat check is complimentary for VIP guests and $3 for all other guests.  If you valet, we recommend leaving your coat in the car. 

What time do the doors open?
It varies depending on the ticket you purchased.  Doors open at:  
8pm for those with a VIP All-Access Pass ($100 Ticket)
9pm for those with a NYE Party Pass ($50 Ticket)
10pm for those with a Rock Star Late Nite Pass ($30 Ticket).

What should I wear?

Are jackets required for guys?
Jackets no, Pants yes!

Will I be on camera?
It's very likely.  We'll have cameras circulating throughout the party all night long, so smile!

Should I purchase a Party Pass or VIP ticket?
There's no right or wrong answer here as there is a ticket for everyone! With a VIP or Party Pass ticket you will enjoy a glass of champagne upon arrival.  For those wanting more, a VIP ticket will gain you access to the Private VIP Mezzanine level for gourmet hors d’oeuvres from 8-10pm, additional bartenders and bars as well as preferred early no-line entry.

I’m a VIP – what do I get?
The Fillmore's exclusive Mezzanine level offers the perfect option for those wanting more on New Year's Eve with a spectacular view of the main dance floor and full access to all the party has to offer.  VIP Guests will enjoy preferred entry, private gourmet food stations, a 7-hour premium bar, a complimentary champagne reception and midnight toast, midnight buffet, private bars and plentiful seating on the Mezzanine level’s theatre seating area.  Contact us at NYEdetroit.com / Social Connection office to reserve a table or private box (seats 8-12) at 248-543-1000 or email us at info@TheSocialConnection.com.

What’s with the $30 Late Night ticket?
Have plans earlier in the evening?  Arrive fashionably late – from 10pm on and pay only $30!  This ticket includes a cash bar until 3am , hearty midnight snacks, midnight champagne toast, and the hottest NYE party in Detroit until 4am !

How many VIP tickets will be sold for Resolution Ball 2010?
Our VIP ticket was the hottest ticket in town last year and was sold out 2 weeks before the party!  For NYE 2010 we have expanded the VIP experience --  VIP’s will have open bar access to bars throughout the venue including the State Bar (located off of the Grand Lobby).  The number of available VIP tickets available will vary depending on General admission sales.  The bottom line, you snooze you lose so get your tickets early! 

Is it possible to guarantee seating?
Yes!!! A limited number of mezzanine level box seats and main floor tables will be available in the VIP section for VIP ticket holders only.  Reservations are limited and required.  Remember, with limited real estate it’s location, location location!   Please contact The Social Connection office at 248-543-1000 for pricing information and reservations. 

VIP guests will all have access to the Mezzanine level theatre seats (220) that overlook the main floor so you can grab a cocktail, rest your feet and still enjoy the show. 

Is seating available outside of the VIP section?
Yes, although tables won't be assigned or guaranteed.  The Fillmore as well as the State Bar does offer some seating and cocktail tables for guests who need to rest in between trips to the bar, food stations and dance floors, but with the DJs we've line up, you won't spend much time sitting!  We recommend the VIP ticket and arriving early to stake your claim.

What kind of music can I expect to hear?
The good stuff that makes you wanna dance all night long!  Back by popular demand DJ Tommy Holiday will get the party started, keep you dancing & ring in the New Year.  The infamous DJ Mike Anthony will rock the house and take the party home with a late-night appearance!  They will play music from the decades, top 40, mash-ups and a variety of current popular dance tunes as well as everyone’s favorites.

Will ticket prices go up?
Anything goes after December 15h.  Our tickets are the best deal in town so we recommend buying early to ensure you get the best deals and ensure you get a ticket.     If you snooze, you may lose and not get a ticket.  That would be a total bummer!  L

How Long will Discounts Be Available?
The big count down is less than 30 days away & there are all kinds of incentives to buy early.  Group Rates as well as Corporate & Affinity Group discounts MAY NOT be available after December 15^th so book now and use the extra cash you save to tip your bartender or treat yourself to valet!   

How do I get tickets after December 22?
If tickets are still available, simply follow the same instructions noted above and print your confirmation receipt.  Your tickets will be available at Will Call at the Fillmore the day of the event beginning at 6pm and will be under the name of the purchaser.  You will need to present a valid ID & your receipt in order to pick up your tickets at Will Call – No Exceptions!

Are tickets refundable?
No, there are no refunds available on NYE tickets, however you are welcome to sell or give your ticket to a friend.  If they don’t have the tickets in hand they must have your confirmation receipt in order to pick up the tickets from Will Call.   We also recommend calling us at 248-543-1000 so we can ensure they can pick up the tickets.

What happens if I show up without my ticket?
You won't get in.  Tickets and a valid ID are absolutely required for all attendees – No Exceptions!  

Can I pay with cash or check?
Yes.  If you would prefer to pay with cash or check, please contact us at 248-543-1000 to make arrangements or visit the Fillmore Theatre Box Office.

Will tickets be sold at the door?
It's unlikely.  Last year the party sold out by 10:30pm - We expect to sell out well before the party starts, so get your tickets early!  For the latest availability on tickets visit www.ResolutionBallDetroit.com

Will anyone under 21 be admitted?
No – 21 and over only.  Legal, picture ID is required (Passport, State ID, or Driver’s License).

Are group discounts available?
Yes.  All of the group ticket packages are outlined at www.ResolutionBallDetroit.com. 
     VIP Tickets($100) – Buy 10+ for an automatic $10 per ticket discount
     GA – NYE Party Pass ($50) – Buy 8+ for an automatic $5 per ticket discount
     GA – Late Night Ticket ($30) – Buy 10+ for an automatic $5 per ticket discount
